What is Yoga?

Yoga, an ancient mindfulness lifestyle practice, originated with the purpose of purification and self-discovery. It is a spiritual practice that transcends age, gender, race, and upbringing, open to all who seek a more fulfilling, enriched and healthy way of living. In our journey through life, we inevitably face challenging times and situations. Yoga, in its entirety, offers a compassionate, detached, and spiritual perspective to navigate these hurdles with grace.

I am Nitai Krishna, a yogi born and raised in the Bhakti Yoga community in Ghana. Having spent four years in India, it has become a significant part of my heart.

I started officially teaching in Thailand for three years and for the last seven years, currently sharing the profound teachings of yoga and eastern philosophy in Dubai, UAE.

For the past decade, I have immersed myself in the practice and teaching of various yoga styles, including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow. My classes are known for their challenging nature, balanced with a mix of fun and lightheartedness.

Apart from my love for yoga, I find great joy in chanting Kirtans, expressing myself through painting, dance and helping others in their personal growth journey.

When the yogī, by practice of yoga, disciplines his mental activities and becomes situated in transcendence – devoid of all material desires – he is said to be well established in yoga.
